The NETWORKDAYS.INTL function calculates the networking days between two given dates after excluding specified weekends and holidays. The function is similar to the NETWORKDAYS function but the difference is that you can specify which days of a week are weekends in the NETWORKDAYS.INTL function.
NETWORKDAYS.INTL(start_date, end_date, [weekend], [holidays])
start_date – Required. The start date from the period from which to calculate the net working days.
end_date – Required. The end date of the period from which to calculate the net working days.
[weekend] – Optional. The optional argument to specify weekends. Available methods to specify are number method and string method. Available options in the number method are:
|Weekend number||Weekend days|
|1 or omitted||Saturday, Sunday|
In the string method, seven character long values are used. Starting from Monday, each represents 1 (non-workday) or 0 (Workday). For example, 0000001 means there are 6 working days and one weekend on Sunday.
[holidays] – Optional. The optional argument to specify holidays.
