Zoom in and out in Excel

Zoom in and out in Excel is used to change the view of a spreadsheet.

The most quicker way to perform the command is through the status bar where there are minus and plus sign buttons to change a tab’s view at your specific percentage.

For zoom at a specific percentage, you may follow another way:

1. In the View tab, click on the Zoom option in Zoom section.

2. Select the percentage of your choice or enter a number between 10 to 400 in Custom option.

For zoom to a selection, do the following steps:

1. Select a range of cells that you want to zoom.

2. In the View tab, click on the Zoom to Selection in Zoom section.

Shortkeys

For zoom to at a specific percentage, press one by one, Alt, W, and Q.

For zoom to 100%, press one by one, Alt, W, and J.

For zoom to selection, after selection of range, press one by one, Alt, W, and G.
