TRUE function in Excel

Use

The TRUE function is used for compatibility with other spreadsheets. It returns the logical value TRUE and often used when you want the value TRUE based on a condition.

Example

Suppose, you want the value TRUE, if value in cell A1 is smaller than 9.

Result. The value in cell A1 is ‘1’ which is smaller than 9. So the function returns the value TRUE.

Syntax

=TRUE()

The function has no argument.

AND function tests a number of logical conditions set by a user.

FALSE function returns the Boolean value False.
