BAHTTEXT function in Excel

Use

The BAHTTEXT function converts a number to Thai text, e.g. the function will convert “23” to “ยี่สิบสามบาทถ้วน“. It also adds a suffix of “Baht.”

Example

In the above example, numbers are mentioned in Thai text like the number in cell A5 is mentioned as one hundred thousand Baht in Thia text in cell C5.

Syntax

BAHTTEXT(number)

The BAHTTEXT function has the following argument:

number – The number value that you want to convert into Thai text.

Using Notes

  • The BAHTTEXT function is categorized as a text function and first introduced in the Excel 2007 version.
  • The function returns #VALUE! error if a text value is supplied instead of a number.
