Count cells if greater than

By using the COUNTIF function, we can count cells/ values if greater than, in our example, we will count all values greater than three “3” in the provided data range.

How the formula works

The formula used is:

=COUNTIF(A4:A9,C4) where,

range (A4:A9) – The range of cells to count against the criteria.

criteria C4 – The criteria to count only if greater than 3.

Result:

As you can see in cell ranges of A4:A9, all values greater than 3 are total 4 in numbers.
