Create a new Workbook in Excel

A workbook in Excel is a group of worksheets that are used to organize, calculate & analyze various kind of related information.

Open an Existing Workbook

To open a workbook that you previously have been saved, follow these steps:

1– Go to the file tab, click open.

2– In the Recent section, your recent file will be listed by last opened. Click the desired file to open.

Open a New Workbook

To open a new workbook, execute the following steps:

1– Go to the file tab, click new.

2– Click on the blank worksheet.

Close the Workbook

To close the opened workbook, click on the X button.
